Diocesan Synod Residence & Orientation
November 19-21, 2009 @ Canterbury Hills, Ancaster

Purpose:
To provide an opportunity for youth members to Diocesan Synod to:
•  Gather to get to know other youth members to Synod and to build this important Christian community.
•  To spend time orienting the delegates to the synod process as well as to the agenda of synod and the issues most relevant to the youth members.
•  To offer a financially reasonable residence program with transportation so that accessibility to Diocesan Synod is more convenient.

Whom/Where/When:
For all youth members to Diocesan Synod who have been appointed to the position by their parishes. The Residence and Orientation program takes place at Canterbury Hills and transportation to and from the Hamilton Convention Centre for the Synod sessions is provided.

Diocesan Synod for 2009 is a two day event - Friday, November 20th to Saturday, November 21st.  The “Residence and Orientation” will be Thursday, November 19th and 20th.  The cost is $TBA per person which includes two overnights, breakfasts, transportation and orientation session.

How to apply:
A mailing is sent directly to all parish youth members approximately six weeks before the event. Registration takes place by sending the form back in to the Diocesan Resource Centre or by contacting Joyce Wilton at 905-527-1316 ext. 430 or by email at joyce.wilton@niagara.anglican.ca
